Clos Quebrada de Macul, Maipo Valley
The most successful and arguably the best vineyard in the upper Maipo Calley, Clos Quebrada is located on 36 hectares in the foothills of the Andes overlooking Macul. A boutique vineyard, it's Domus Aurea has been voted one of the 10 best wines in Chile.
Owner Ricardo Y Jorge Pena began a partnership with internationally renowned enologist Ignacio Recabarren, who astonished the wine world in 1984 with a Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon which won the Gault Millau World Olympics in Paris and was listed by Wine Spectator as one of the people most likely to shape the wine world in the future.
With the characteristic aroma of the Macul zone combined with hints of black currant, menthol, chocolate, pepper and liquorice, each of these wines has something very special to offer.
